I like to say that I am a barrel racer who happens to also be an accountant, who became an accidental vacation homeowner.

My parents were looking for a place in the area and once I saw lake, I couldn’t walk away from the view or the shoreline.

So I started casually looking at properties in the area. There were plenty of luxury houses and cozy lake cottages but nothing that would fit all my ideas of what an ideal lake house should be…until Tahoe in Texas came on the market.

This house had everything I was looking for.

It needed the right layout, with the right location and the right neighborhood. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the project!

I love it when families tell me their kids put their phones down and play all week. It gives me endless joy to hear about adventures on the island, exciting poker games played late into the night, and long sunsets on the beach.

This is a pet-free and smoke-free home.

We don’t host events but we can host groups.

Tahoe in Texas’ Private Beach is always swimmable.

Our location on the lake, in front of a deep drop-off, is 5 feet deep about 13 steps from the shoreline. While we know the lake levels have been in flux, our beach stays consistently deep.
